About Panel Providers
*PA only
In certain states, employers can choose or suggest appropriate medical providers for their injured employees by posting or providing a list, or panel, of approved medical providers. Employers are then able to guide their injured employees to those providers who can best offer quality, cost-effective care focused on occupational injuries.
Regulations governing the use and enforcement of medical provider panels vary widely from state-to-state. For example, Pennsylvania allows employers to post medical provider panels and direct care for the first 90 days of treatment, if employees have signed an Employee Acknowledgement Form at time of hire and time of injury. Some states allow employers to post a panel, but allow employees to choose treatment from other providers or to change care under specified conditions. For specific questions related to your state's regulations, please contact your regional Eastern office.

- Reduced Lost Work Days
- Injured employees who treat with panel providers experience fewer lost work days than those whose employers do not post a panel.
